Project and team

Research on the recovery of nutrients from human excreta and municipal wastewater for reuse in agriculture has intensified over the past years, making it increasingly hard to navigate and keep track of. Egestabase aspires to comprehensively map this scientific evidence and is the key output of the project END-OF-WASTEWATER. Financial support from the Kamprad Family Foundation is gratefully acknowledged.

Egestabase was developed by an interdisciplinary team of Swedish researchers with complementary skills and experiences, as well as, a common interest in human excreta, wastewater, and responsible nutrient management:
